I completely misread the flop action when I first posted, I thought he check called both streets, obviously that changes things when he led out on the flop. He could still be leading out on the flop with spades, and a weaker A. The flop bet does add some pretty strong hands to his range though such as A3,A9,33. The turn check/call could be a nuted hand, weaker A’s still, maybe 9x,or spades since you definitely didn’t bet him off his draw with that small bet. On the river I think spades, boats, 9x diamonds could be leading out. I am tempted to think weak A’s would check call if they check/called the turn. Your hand just seems to strong to fold so I’m probably calling but the more I think about it I can see an argument for folding

Not quite sure what to make of it either but without reads I would probably call since players at these stakes are goofing around too often. Wouldnt be shocked to see TT-KK or complete air here quite a bit. Ofc he could also have a flush or better then you just have to pay him off.

I'd like to know what your reasons are for thinking this is a fold? I can't really come up with any great reasons to fold this river. V will show up with flushes and fullhouses sometimes, but not often enough. He is going to have LOTS of weaker Aces and 9x blocking bets here. He's also going to have missed spade draws here. I don't think he has many better Ace combo's, unless he normally plays passive with strong aces from the BB. AJ+ should be a 3b from BB vs a Btn raise.

I know I'm never folding, at least not readless.

It feels ugly,  I am not overly happy but I am going to make a stubborn call, our hand is big enough for this ride.  The hardest thing here is not over thinking it and folding or worse leveling yourself into a shove fold mindset and shoving.   A disciplined call seems best but get ready to shake a fist at the poker gods cursing their parentage.

villians lead does seem strong , when we get to the turn the top of their range looks like boats A9/A3 ,however  there' stilll worse Ax in their range which we can get value from and also we can get value from 9x and draws  Though i wanna know your thoughts on checking back and re-evaluating river? yeah we give a free card but i mean for them to improve otr and hit their flush the % is so low for that so its not that bad IMO we could pretty much keep their range wide. basically otr if villian leads we can just call it off allowing them to bet their missed flush draws, they may bet a 9x though i think these hands would at least be c/c otr (since marginal hands wanna get to showdown) depending on the pot odds their getting on the call or they may even fold.

I don't think villian is going to be blufing that often here tbh , low stake players dont bluff as often as you may think, so when they lead out it seemed like a nutted hand or a missed draw at the least , nor do i think they'll be leading out otr with 9x.

I cant see raising ATs and getting a BB callers, him leading on a Ace spade flop and folding to a river bet as played.  I have Ax in his range and I have spades in his range, but ending up with a backdoor diamond hand looking to get paid?  I cant piece that together.  I force myself to call.  (I know in some instances, villain will play a set this way, but then why would he not check turn with nuts??)

villian did check turn ott though…, he c/c (OOP) vs a small bet…i think i bet like just under half a pot around 40% of the pot i bet roughly.
