Hi Guys, here I`m in doubt were I think I should put some more agression to V life, but als have thougts about showdown value, here some hands.

3 folds, Player8 raises to t5790, 1 fold, Hero calls t5790, 3 folds

Flop: (t11580) 5 of hearts 5 of clubs 2 of diamonds (2 players)
Player8 bets t11790, Hero calls t11790

Turn: (t35160) 7 of diamonds (2 players)
Player8 checks, Hero bets t12348, Player8 calls t12348

River: (t59856) Q of spades (2 players)
Player8 checks, Hero checks

Okay here I flat V open, cause I wasnt comfortable to stick out a 3bet and maybe get blown away by a 4bet.

The flop; pretty dry board, V  does C-bet so I think it could be that I have the best hand, I didn`t raise cause I not was sure he did this cbet as a bluff or value with 66+, and my hand on this flop has somekind of showdown value.

The turn; V shows weakness, ofcourse my bet on the turn is ridiculous small but this was more a bet for information cause he still could hold 99+ and if V would checkraise then I could fold cheap.

River: I checkback.

Is there something I had to different/better?

Player3 (BB): t19593 1 BBs – VPIP: 58, PFR: 19, 3B: 6, AF: 2,6, Hands: 43

Pre Flop: (t0) Hero is MP2 with K of diamonds Q of clubs
4 folds, Hero raises to t239, 3 folds, Player3 calls t239

Flop: (t478) 3 of hearts T of clubs J of diamonds (2 players)
Player3 bets t200, Hero calls t200

Turn: (t878) Q of hearts (2 players)
Player3 bets t500, Hero calls t500

River: (t1878) 7 of hearts (2 players)
Player3 bets t1000, Hero folds

Here I open pre, pretty standard I think

Flop: loose agressive player starts to donk, I think I call I have 2overs+ Oed.

Turn: I catch toppair, V continues donking, I thougt it could be that V had some 2 pair combinations, made straith or weak toppair, I did call cause I thought I have a hand with showdown value

River: V donks for the 3th time here I was thinking my hand is beat, if he would have some toppair hand he could check it and try to see the showdwn couldn`t he?

Should I raise somewhere in the hand, or should I think in order of showdownvalue?

next hand (hand 3)

Turn: (t1434) Q of spades (2 players)
Player6 checks, Hero checks

River: (t1434) A of clubs (2 players)
Player6 bets t900, Hero calls t900

Okay pre I open, here with antes in play.

Flop: V checks to me, Here I did not C bet cause I have 2 overcards and I`m in position, and this flop could hit a BB callingsrange.

Turn: I hit here toppair with a good kicker, V checks again, now I`m almost sure that I have the best hand, here I did not bet cause I thought I have showdown value and maybe I induce a bluff from V on the river.

River: Here I call cause I stick to my plan I made on the turn try to bluffcatch, with my “showdownvalue hand”

Is my thought process wrong?

Player9 (SB): t2970 1 BBs – VPIP: 17, PFR: 10, 3B: 14, AF: 0,0, Hands: 30

Pre Flop: (t0) Hero is UTG+1 with T of diamonds T of clubs
1 fold, Hero raises to t71, 1 fold, Player5 raises to t180, 4 folds, Player1 raises to t285, Hero calls t214

Flop: (t750) 9 of clubs 9 of diamonds K of spades (3 players)
Player1 bets t300, Hero calls t300

Turn: (t1350) J of clubs (3 players)
Player1 checks, Hero checks

River: (t1350) 4 of spades (3 players)
Player1 checks, Hero checks

Here I did call pre cause I get the odds to call.

Flop: pretty dry but could hit V min 3 betting range, so forthat I opt for a checkcall, I didnt see mutch reason to checkraise, was thinking that my hand had somekind of showdownvalue.

Turn: stick to my plan.

River: stick to my plan

Should I play this more agressive on the flop wit a donk or checkraise?

This is a good thing to be thinking about. One very important thing to keep in mind is that you are playing a range, not a hand. So the question to ask is not just “what would I like to accomplish with these two cards” but rather “where does this hand fit into my range, and what do I want to do with my range as a whole?” So for example when you have a very weak range you should make more thin value bets, when you have a very strong range you should bluff more but also make more big folds when V shows strength, etc.

Thank you for the link

Just read your article, I`m no sure I understand everything correctly(blame myself for it, need to read it a few times more probably before I will fully understand), but 1 question I have already; if Villians don`t read hands/ranges so they only look at there own cards, does your answer from above also apply?
