I think this a very fact intensive question; meaning that you must take into consideration the tendencies of players left to act, their stack sizes, table dynamics, and stage of the tournament to name a few.

5 BBs

A general response would be that with 5 BBs I dont like to shove wide in EP as you have minimal fold equity.  I'd rather wait to square off in the blinds possibly.  If you wait til the blinds I like to pick a spot where I can get heads up against another player.  When shoving a 5 bb stack from EP i think you are facing a multiway pot more times than not and I dont particularly care for that.  MP and LP I would generally shove all suited connectors, Ax and Ax suited, all pocket pairs, and any broadway.

10 BBs

With 10 BBs you have some fold equity but still will get called down relatively light.  From EP i like to shove A8+,KJ+, PPs.  From MP, if i have nits left to act I will go as wide as suited one gappers and K9+, very player dependent.  From LP i shove just about everything if there are medium stacks left to act and or nitty players.

15 & 20 BBs

Here you have ample fold equity as you have a good reshove stack. You will be able to pick up chips not only by open raising but also by reshoving and causing players to fold that way.  I don't like to get too crazy when shoving with this stack size as you are not on living on life support yet. You can still go an orbit or two and be just fine.  With this stack though I will consider how much time I have left at the current blind level.  If its a faster structure tourney I may shove wide in LP if im about to have a 12 BB stack in a few minutes.

i would like a more specific range for 15-20bb from ep. would you only shove TT+ AQ+ or widen the range to A8s+ A10+ 66+. which pairs/aces would you still fold in ep, especially utg?

for all of these types of questions, the best thing to do is to use the pushbot spreadsheet, which can be found here

excellent resource for this type of thing, you can also work it out with ICM too

UTG with 15-20 BBs I still play fairly tight.  Also with a 20 BB stack I am not shoving EP I would rather make a std raise regardless of the hand I have.  If  I have a real strong hand and make a raise I allow the rest of the table to have a chance to try and take control by reshoving.  As far as ranges go UTG I probably raise with this stack AJ+, 88+.  But im a nit.

You´re basically saying to fold on EP and let the blind gets to u just because u dont wanna face a multiway pot cuz ur pratically low on fold equity? I think its the other way around..Since im that low in chips im practically shoving ATC at that spot regarding of my position, i dont think its +cEV to fold when you´re that low in chips, and if im inducing a multiway pot so be it im either way looking for a suckout when is shove with that stack.
