The question I have about this hand is regarding the CO super short stack size…he just lost a big hand. Do you ever consider folding a big pair here to try and move up a spot?

no never not even at wsop main event final table it sucks that this action woke up behind you and it appears to me that your about to get cooled off but thats poker. fwiw if you were in the BB and that was the action in front of you and the bumps were massive then you can release and still extremly tough fold for me.

plus the blinds are about to hit you and you might find yourself swapping places with him if he doubles up and you go through the blinds.

You need to ignore results. I say this all the time to myself. I've had a huge string of bubble's when I get my money in good pre-flop. AK<AQ type stuff. It's the spot I want to be in all day long.
