150 man LIVE WSOP Circuit Event – $365 Buy In

21 left. Top 15 pays.

I am really writing this post as I was wondering if there is a good hand range chart that recommends what to push/ fold with from each position with 9-12 BB?

In this hand my table was 7 handed with one short stack and rest were about 12-20BB. It was a turbo and the next hand the blinds were going up again. I had QTo UTG and was wondering if I should be pushing here. There were antes as well… 2500-5000 with 500 ante. I had a bit over 50k.

It is these late phases of tourneys that I seem to be at a bit of a loss to current strategy and how to play a 10-15 BB stack when everyone else has one too and bubble is approaching, etc. Can anyone recommend a series here at TPE that could help me in this area and become more confident in my late stage play?

QTo is pretty weak, I think you could get it in from the hijack, definitly cut-off, but not from UTG 7-handed.

I don't know a TPE series with shoving ranges, but the book Kill Everyone has a nice equilibrium-push-chart at the end of the book.

Q10o is a little light as stated above. My range here would be something like 22+ A8s+ A5s ATo+ K9s+ KJo+ Q9s+ QJo J9s+ T9s 98s. Blinds are going up, but you still have time to go through the blinds once more and have fold equity. Bubble is approaching and you can find a better spot in later position. I would try my best to find a spot next orbit though unless bubble is coming up a place or two away from the money.

In response to the bolded – my next series, already produced and set for release later this month, is all about GTO and exploitative push/fold and raise/call/fold ranges. You might enjoy it. 🙂

EDIT: I don't know why the formatting of this post came out weird. Sorry!
