That's not a mistake 🙂 You should be really happy to call with AQo! if anything your calling range from the bb should be really wide. You should be calling v shove with a hand like K2o and it will be fine as played

are you trying to say that there's a tell when someone says that , i.e. they've got a big hand?

did he look at his cards before he shipped or did he ship blind?

its just to make my range bit better.

if he shipped blind i am prolly calling about 75% of all hands here

The results don’t matter in this spot (meaning don’t be results oriented)..  BvB w/ 6 BB AQ, call with a smile, just hope you hold there.. With your stack you should be ready to Go especially if it folds around. In the long run you are a winner in this spot.

Hi man.

That is an snap call, even if the SB has AA you have to call there, do not pay attention to the results, good players play thinking on long-term, it was just luck, you are going to win 67% of the times if he shoves with J5o, otherwise youre shortstack and this is a turbo tourney so you have to move quickly because blinds increase faster.

As others have pointed out, this is a snap call. However, don’t trust other players’ table talk – there’s a decent possibility that there are circumstances where he wouldn’t follow through on his pledge to shove all-in if it folded to him. You can’t necessarily assume he has 100% of hands here, even though he should probably have pretty close to that range just purely based on Nash ranges.

Just because you lost doesn’t mean you made a mistake. You are going to lose most MTTs you enter. Your goal is to put yourself in a spot to win when luck finally smiles on you. If you consistently fold the best hand for fear of getting drawn out on, you’ll never have enough chips to make use of your luck when you get it. You can’t focus on winning the tournament, you just have to make the most profitable decision you can and each opportunity and let thechips fall where they may.
