Ok, this was the 22nd hand of a $5 rebuy on Bovada.  Villain is 45/27/9 over 22 hands.  This is Blind vs Blind.  Hero is in the BB, Villain is in the SB.  I have no reads on him other than he has been active.

blinds: 30/60   no antes;  Chips:  Hero – 5385  Villain – 2755

Folds around to SB.

Villian: calls.

Hero:  TclubTheart  raise 222

Villian: calls

Pot = 444

Flop: Adiamond 3heart Tdiamond

Villain: quickly bets 444

Hero: raise 948

Villain: takes about 20 seconds, then calls

Pot = 2340

Turn: 6diamond

Villain: takes about 8 seconds, then checks

Hero: checks behind

River: 8diamond

Villain: bets 1170 (leaving himself only 445)

Hero: ???

I'm looking for advice on any and all streets smile  I'm not sure if I should have raised more on the flop?

Thank you guys!

~Steve

Raise the turn.

You are behind only on AA and a flush. Villain bet a pot on the flop and called your min raise so he has to have something or a huge draw on the flop. Like, 33,  KJd or AT. Also that villain called 3xbb bet on preflop says that he should have someting decent.

Most likely you are ahead on the turn and since you do not have a diamond in had I would protect and might just shove on the turn.

I think the Flop reraise might have been a little bigger but it was enough to have a 3/4 pot bet left for the turn.

Also that this is a rebuy I would have shoved the turn.

Yep raise flop much bigger.  You want to be able to set up the tur to get it in.  Especially with it being a rebuy.

I go 1200 and shove every turn.  EVERY.

As played I still shove turn.  You still beat a lot of hands, and he may have somethnig like Ax 1 diamond and call way behind or even just no flush draw.

In the rebuy period you should be playing all your hands fast.  Especailly against these types of villains.

I dont think you need to raise bigger on the flop. I have a feeling some people didnt see the stack size of the villain. He has a 2/3 pot bet on the turn. I think your mistake is just not putting it in on the turn.
