IT is often easier to analyze someone else hands especially when we are not in that situation ourselves but have time to think of it.

I would like a further minraise which  would commit that mp2 (just another 300 or 400) and get out the draws, you stand the chance of losing that way of course.  if you flat you let the mp2 see the turn and the bb in for cheap (it is only 240 more to him).

that is the scarey thing it is a drawy board , flush, straight , lots of people.

i would be content that we took it down, rather then have the flush come in and get bet off our hand or another low card like 8, putting up a high straight and a low straight and all hell breaks loose.

also a raise puts most of your stack at risk so getting it in here is better then flatting and leting the draws nail you. heck even the 480 is big part of your stack leaving you 1299 left and then the flush comes you might feel commited with your set.

so in retrospect i like your all in .

not sure i like a minraise here, but I would make your raise a little smaller.  Maybe like 1200.  That should get you a call from MP2.  Should set up nice pot size for turn and river bets that hopefully get you his stack.

Might also give him the feeling that he has FE if he shoves AJ over you or a flush draw.  1799 makes it pretty clear that you have a hand you are not folding.

good points here.

your raise is huge, about 4x MP2s raise. i would just raise to like 1000-1200 and like KB says hope he thinks he has some FE with a FD or loses his mind with AJ. it’s a nasty spot with a set in that we’re going to have trouble getting max value from the bottom and middle parts of his range no matter what we do, because flatting and raising here look ridiculously strong.
