I think the check on the flop is fine, and probably pretty standard. I think if we are closing action this becomes a pretty easy call. Now I guess the question is do we iso shove here or do we just call?  Based on our stack size i think we are committed with a call anyway, so i guess we shove?

I think I’m folding here to the shove. I know we have the ace and king, but any of the remaining v’s can have JA or the more likely QK for top 2 pair…best case scenario is that they have a draw…but even then their equity v TP is huge vs TPTK.

I just feel you’re behind here too often, and even when you’re ahead, you’re like Indiana Jones on the dodgy rope bridge hoping the thing will hold til he makes it across the ravine, and there’s a tattooed bald freak from the Temple Of Doom at the other end trying to chop the bridge down, holding, in this case, a well sharpened blade.

Flop check is good imo.

[Edit: As I drive my wagon around Mayfair this morning a disquiet infected my mind about this hand…looking at it again I am a little confused by your blind level…if you mean youre at the 12/24k blind level which is what I expect then yes I too GII here. I pull out my 6 shooter with 1 bullet left in the chamber and I try to take out the guy with the sword on the bridge…the range is much closer now!

Sorry, that was 1200-2400.  If it was 24KBB, we would have been all in preflop.

Their equity can’t be that huge with 1 card to come.  Yes we are drawing to a chop vs AJ, but I think the Main Villain would have jammed that preflop, starting the hand with ~14 BBs.

Thanks Danny. I realised this must be the case after I initially posted.

Originally I thought you meant we were literally at the 12/24 level lol!
