i was prolly wrong for calling flop but qt is fav hand(really, it is). float flop, got to see a free river which flushes me up. AJ+ is well withn his raising range early pos. as well as AK, AQ, KK and AA. when he cks turn can i lean more toward the higher range of aces AQ, Ak, evn KK. will AJ chk this turn? when i make flush is it best to ck call or is there value in ck raising???

will post results lata

I think the call pre-flop is okay, QTs flops reasonably well and with the flat your hand is well disguised. Once the flop hits I'm not going anywhere and my goal is to try to get the next two cards for free (unless I make my hand on the turn, then I am looking for value). I think your line for the hand works well as I am pretty sure a check/raise isn't going to get called (unless he is holding AJ) so I think that check calling is probably the max value you are going to get or the min loss you are goingt to suffer. All in all I like the line. My guess on result is that he is holding an Ax (probably either AQ, AT) or a busted Broadway draw (K9, KT, Q9, QT). Curious what it was.

min-raise (ish) fold to shove/big raise? I feel like he'd put out a bigger sized c-bet with a set or two pair on this flop.

Yes, the check on the Turn can sometimes mean they boated up but it can also be him scared you have QJ/JT/KQ.

I think this deep I try to extract a little extra value. If he shoved we can release and still be fine.

yeah, i like fKcoolers line here i think.  these are the kind of hands we can get value from when he has a J or a smaller flush (prolly not likely here)…and I think with the minriase he calls alot of other hands we beat.  If he puts in a sizeable raise i think we can safely release the hand.

Shouldn't hero be leading this river for 150ish himself, instead of allowing villain to check behind? Checking allows to many hands to see the showdown for free that would have paid off a 1/2 – 2/3 pot bet. If we are raised then we can probably call (assuming a standard raise) and would have gotten the same number of chips in as check-raising only we'd see a showdown.
