i was finally fortunate to get a stack in a tourny. its been a looooong time since ive been this deep in a tourny so i didnt want to fuck it up. im second in chips with 48BB. i had become very aggressive due to the hands that were coming my way. this deep in tourny with my stack size, there are 13 left, should i be 4bet shoving here with 48BB. btw converter on TPE not working properly.

I am inclined to just call the reraise and see the flop.  You will be in position and can make a decision on what to do next with the info he gives you after the flop.  I am not really interested in lossing my big stack with a drawing hand.

^^^This idea seems good. the pot is about 55k. You have 167 and he has 109 on the flop. Alot of things could happen on the flop:

-He overshoves (its a micro MTT I dont doubt it)

-He cbet to like 25k

-He checks, you can check back b/c u could have showdown value or you can bet into it yourself and if check/raised fold.

I like Bill's suggestion, and then on the flop try to get to showdown cheaply granted you dont hit. Especially if you have been owning the tables your biggest edge is your skill over the rest of the field, I wouldnt want to risk that with 5 cards to come that you cant bet on.

Ugly spot without reads….second in chips is a great position with 13 left and our hand is simply a drawing hand.  I consider we are opening from the cut off with a standard open we probably look light. He 3bets from BB about 3x which shows some strength. He also has a decent size stack and he just put almost 1/5 in pre.  I dont ever want to fold here unless this guy is a total NIT. I hate to jam it this deep when we are in good shape starting the hand with almost 50 bigs.  I agree being  IP I like a flat and evaluate on the flop, I also dont hate shoving be are risking a lot when we don necssarily have to.

indeed ugly spot. btw, the donk 3bets me with 66 and then snap calls my 4bet shove with 66…. could not get any help. same donk knocks me out of tourny 4 hands later. exact same spots. i got AA this time. i raise he call from BB. on j high flop he jams i call he shows j8 binks an 8 on river… sighfrown i thought it was my tourny to win. bust in 11th

I would 4b shove in this spot a large majority of the time.  You are at a 6-handed table and raising the cutoff and you said you had been very aggro up to this point.  His 3b range should be pretty wide as he can 3b fold rather easily.  He may even call your 4b with AQ or AJ based on how aggro you had been and give yourself a great opportunity to have a massive stack and really attack the FT bubble.  Giving yourself an even better shot at a win.

4 bet shove is fine. Once you do this if he doesn't suck at poker he should only be considering calling with a very narrow range of hands.

i four bet jam this all day.  To be profitable at tournaments you have top 3 a lot, and win more then your share of them because all the equity is at the top.  Like Cougars said, you're 6 handed, and there is a lot of 3-betting light that goes on 6 handed especially against your aggro image.  I actually like this spot a lot, as I would be hoping for a three bet here.  We only hate seeing two hands, and we take out half the combinations of AA and KK because we hold an ace and king, so most likely when he calls it will be QQ or JJ, maybe TT, but with the money in the pot already, what i would consider a fair amount of FE, and a monster, i am very happy to be presented with this spot to 4 bet jam.
