With no history on villiain i think i fold here in a SAT. Although we are likely ahead of his shoving range we are so close to winning a seat that i dont really like calling off my stack without a read. I'd rather fold and open shove a wide range from late to middle position to pick up the blinds with massive fold equity.

In a normal MTT i prob call as our hand is ahead of his likely wide CO shoving range.

Fold…..flipping at best I would rather be the opener than the caller unless I have a true monster!!

impossible to say for sure without knowing other stacks/where you stand.

i'd call in a regular MTT, and maybe call here if we're at the bottom of the pack. i could easily be wrong, though, and this might just be a fold. there is a lot to be said of folding and waiting for a spot to open jam with fold equity.

With no reads, the CO shove feels slightly stronger since the CO knew the BTN was even shorter and likely to call any two. This makes me think he is somewhat strong. I think we can fold this one but we are not passing up our next chance.

I fold and shove with FE. I expect supertight action so you’ll be succesfull in taking the blinds a lot. And here you are almost guaranteed to be flipping or being dominated a lot of the time. You are in the SB so you just got through the blinds.

FE? The hero is on a 9bb stack, there is not much Fold Equity there even in a sattelite. You are 6 away from the seat in a 25c tourney, I don't think the players here are going to be thinking one iota about whether or not your shove looks strong or not, they are playing their hands and nothing more. From a strategic point of view you are in the SB right here, which means that the blinds have to travel the entire table before you get hit again. You can use that to your advantage and look for a better spot or cruise into the money. My suspicion would be that the play in this had to be pretty terrible so I would expect that you could fold to a seat pretty effectively here.

Maybe I wasnt clear That is what I am saying.  I fold here and find a better spot, there is certainly more fold equity in shoving 9 bbs versus calling with 9 bbs which is what we are looking at here.  besides in this table there are 4 people with less than 9 bbs, 2 with less than 15 and “the big stack” with 29.  so people are not going to call you light  here which is where the Fold equity comes from

It is a 25c Sat, I would wager that the concept of Fold Equity probably doesn't exist at all here. They will play their card and only their cards. I wouldn't worry too much about over thinking this.

Ir's a clear fold. A7s is only 55% if villain's shoving 50% and you have more equity than that. I think you do have good fold equity against the two players to your right so you can shove wide if it's folded to you in the next hand.

I am folding here with no reads and letting the other 6 jam themselves out of it.  I just think too many times your flipping and when I am in  a satty I would rather pick a spot where I might not be a dog
