Hi

Sorry I don't have a hand for this question.But, I would like to know if its profitable  to call SB shove with 22 in the following situations.

– under 10BB, Im calling always( is it profitable?)

->10BB <15BB, Its marginal. I might call in 180 man's to a reg, might fold in a MTT

->20BB Im always folding.

I put the SB as a regular shoving 50% of his range. When I put this in pokerstove, the equity with 22 in ~48%. Pre antes is a fold definately, but when is calling with 22 post antes and with what pot odds is it a profitable call?

What is the minimum odds should I be getting to make the call?

Thank you!

If you have 48% equity against someone's range, you only need around 1.1 to 1 odds in order to call. This means 22 is going to be a call against a lot of players in these spots unless the stacks are quite deep. However, against many ranges, 22 will have less than 48% equity, so it might be a fold.

There are no hard and fast rules. It's all player dependent. Figure out their range, your equity, and do the math. You might say it's a definite fold pre-antes, but if someone shoves pre-antes and you have 22 and you determine you have 48% equity against their range getting a price of 1.3 to 1, it's a call.

If you want to run some test scenarios (which will help greatly) use a program called HoldemResources Calculator. It's a fantastic tool for creating GTO and exploitative scenarios, and will tell you your exact calling range in a specific situation once you input ranges. This will clear up your confusion.
