Not my own hand, but it intrigued me. Utg has raised 5 hands in a row, so is obviously taking advantage of the bubble. Other tables have similar stacks. What would you do? (Hero was 16th out of 26 at the time, 22 get the ticket)

PokerStars – |200/400 NL – Holdem – 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

BB: 2,010.00
UTG: 14,809.00
Hero (MP): 3,630.00
CO: 8,435.00
BTN: 1,230.00
SB: 1,615.00

BB posts ante 40.00, UTG posts ante 40.00, Hero posts ante 40.00, CO posts ante 40.00, BTN posts ante 40.00, SB posts ante 40.00, SB posts SB 200.00, BB posts BB 400.00

Pre Flop: (840.00) Hero has K K

UTG raises to 1,200.00 Hero?

I think Im folding here most of the time. Pretty sure he is calling if you shove like 90% of the time with his stack. Its just not worth the risk if you get called by AX. Given the amount of players under 10bb im folding my way to a seat.

Thats a pretty tough spot i think. Definetely folding it with 10BBs+ in LP …But the fact u are in EP and have to pay the blinds soon makes it hard. I think its borderline decision, but I would fold the Kings too. Sometimes u get unlucky and shortstacks gonna double up and later on u have to survive a flip or worse. But 16./26 with 9BBs its worth to risk it and fold the Kings here.

Snap folding.

YOu shouldnt really have to risk anything to make the money here.  Usually when a statellite bubble approaches I am in insta folding mode(except in relaly easy shove spots in unopened pots in LP) if the number of people needed to bust is less than than [(positions paid)-(my position)].  So in this situation we are looking at 4  people needing to bust.  And 22 psotiions paid and our position is 16, so 22-16 = 6, and 6>4.  So I usually just fold and never reshove.  If we were in 19th here I would probably reshove.

“If we were in 19th here I would probably reshove.”

After 2 hands when he paid the blinds he is maybe 19th. And other very important thing is, when blinds are going up. If blinds are going up next hand, i probably would reshove here

That isnt a real huge consideration in satelites though as long as you have an M greater than 1.

The only way you are worried about your situation is if small stacks are gaining chips to apss you.  Hitting blinds sucks, but every player goes through it.
