I am curious to know if you would want to cut out a certain type/level of SNG or MTT if it is hurting your ROI?  If one of my main concerns is volume, should I be concerned about this?  If not, when would be a time to cut out the lower ROI producing tournies?  Is it after so long? So many games played?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated, as I am trying to update my progress of this great game and not sure what to do, if anything.

Thanks!

its all about the hourly.

if adding games doesnt hurt you to the point where it becomes unprofitable, i would play any and all games that you continue to be profitable in

^ that. youre essentially taking a roundabout way to try and find the point where profit/hour is maximized. a profit curve for adding games or taking away games is going to be parabolic with the peak being on top. you can find out where this actually is by slowly adding games or taking away games. you won't really be able to find out how it actually affects your hourly because it's something that requires infinite data, but you can move marginally in each direction and sort of guess based on how you feel. after a while youll be able to tell.

Thank you both for the feedback!

i think as long as you stay within your bankroll any tourney is fine and its possibly just variance. You could play that same tourney today and win it and your ROI would balloon and you wouldnt look at it the same again.

Yeah, I understand.  I am just playing as many as I can right now for pure volume, but I am a small winner at the $1 SNG, so its not the end of the world I guess.  The $5.50 36 man and $11 27 man are just way more profitable for me.  Thanks for the feedback.
