guy is a bit spazzy postflop, but steals 56% over a small sample (40ish hands)

Played fine imo. I just call river. If you raise and get played back at you def have to fold and the only hands you are getting value from by raising riv are smaller flushes and Jx hands. I really don't think he plays his Jx hands this way so I guess he got there with Axdd/slow played set which filled up/or has air.

cant ever see a set not betting into a BB flat on that board can you? so i narrowed his range to flushes and air only, he either picked up equity on the turn or thinks im fos i guess

How are you playing this flop? Planning to c/r, c/c? Just curious…not sure how I'd play it. I try to get a free card on the turn tbh…a raise puts us in a bad spot.

As played, river is a pretty easy fold.

I was intending to check raise as he has such a high steal and cbet %, not sure if i included that in OP as i had pokertracker running so didnt pull the stats out. so much trash that will call a raise then fold to a barrel on the turn if it doesnt fold outright.  thoughts?

Flop – Personally I'm not sure I'd be looking to c/r flop with stack sizes as they are. BUT def agree it's a good spot to, assuming the villians cbet freq.

Turn – Considering that we are OOP and they raised preflop, I would usually expect at least a delayed cbet. Sometimes I c/r this turn in general just because of that fact, but I like check calling more here.

**I think the turn action is going to heavily dictate how the river goes so

River – As Played I think I can consider check/calling, just because I don't think they are flatting your bet on the turn with a King (would be ideal on river for us tho – but then they don't raise you) and if they are doing it with a set (which I think is possible here) then basically the river is a death card for us.

So like JLude said, we are only beating bluffs, baby flushes, and Jx hands (I'm leaning towards Jx personally here since flop was dry and no raise on turn when King appeared).  I think that range will bet the river for us (especially considering it's gonna be tough for them to put us on the backdoor FD), and I think we can Assume a Jack on this river can raise for value from Kx hands which I'm sure you'd lead the turn with…

I think I can check/call and avoid this awkward spot.

I think the only hands raising us on this river, with these stack sizes, have us crushed.

he has alot that will check behind with showdown value that would call a river bet, looking at it more and more i think river is a bet/fold given the current information, River made the good point that the 7d being on the boards cuts down the number of combos of smaller flushes.

he will def not value bet a K on that river but would call a bet,

RESULTS, i called and villain showed 105dd, I think his raise is way way too thin, (because i am def bet/folding a J and tank called this hand)(also assumed villain is never bluffing as he is pretty face up.)

I wouldn't expect a T high Flush to raise this river either… Tough spot but good post 🙂
