Hey,

No reads.

I decided to complete the sb , since i'm getting good odds.

given that the flop was checked through i decided to bluff the turn. I think their range of hands consists of marginal hands or pretty much draw/airs, i do discount draws though since i think they'll bet these on the flop.

on the turn i picked up some equity and I decided that im going to bluff turn and any river that does not complete a heart. I did say it's unlikely for villian to be on a draw since they'll bet this on the flop but when they called it made me think that they could quite possibly have a draw like JTs or KJs or something like that.

the river did complete my straight but the flush came in and i really got confused in this spot , because now i've actually got a hand which i probably can value bet …but at the same time if i bet and get raised that'll just be a terrible.

so ya b/f or c/c?

You have to put your opponent on a range and then decide whether or not you are ahead on the river. If you are ahead, you bet-fold. If not, then you check-fold. Check-calling is something you should do only to induce bluffs, not as a compromise when you have a pretty good hand but you aren't sure it is strong enough to value bet.

Very true andrew, just a little screw up by me!

looking back at this hand more and more , i'm now very sure that this is a b/f. I think given the action postflop its very unlikely v has a flush , if anything even if i did not hit my straight on the river i probably should represent the flush since it's unlikely that's in their range.

v may have some weak qx in their range which they've played pretty weak or maybe a hand like A5 which they are playing passively and pocket pairs like 77/88.
