Hey guys,

wanted to post this hand cause it seemed interesting to me and would like to know what others think. Tournament is 100e buy in 40k guarantee, biggest daily tournament on stars.fr.

Our image is tight. We have been in the table for 25 hands and showed KK once in a 3bet pot where we trippled up. In sharkscope we are down 200d with average buy in 26d, 157 tournaments played.

Villain is a reg, playing 18/18 so he has played some hands but we have really no further information. His average buy in 125d, 5k profit and 263 played tournaments.

At this moment average stack was 40-50k and 25 to go to the moneybubble.

First of all the site is full with calling stations, and “never fold'em” guys…lol, so I would be wary what moves I would do!

Whats the best fold you believe you can achieve by shoving the river since his bet looks like a value bet by me? Anything with showdown value like AT, KT he would prob ch/c the river if he was to put you on a missed AK or he would definetely value bet and never fold like QJ, T9, sets etc. Also depending on what he holds he could eliminate a lot of combinations of flushes if he is going to call you light, plus you dont have any blocker A heart or K heart, which could help your move.

You’re not really repping a whole lot with this line, and I don’t see many bluffs in his range with the way the board is and the line he has taken. I would Just give up on the river and give him credit. And like kasspav has already said, if you had the A or K of hearts it could help your cause, ruling out nut flushes for him.

Also, given that you say he is a good player, he may see that your value range is quite thin and call with as loose as a good 9x, maybe.

As always, criticism is welcome 🙂
