From WSOP 10k last night. Mid stages, I just got moved to this table at most 20 hands ago. A couple regs at the table. Villain 1 I have no reads on. Villain 2 I know is at least semi competent, recognize his name , but I dont have a ton of history with him.

Blinds 500/1k/100

Small Blind 46k
Big Blind 65k
UTG 31k
Hero 34k
Villain1 63k

Hijack 33k
Villain2 9.7k

Button 16k

Hero AhJh

UTG FOLD
Hero Raise to 2k
Villain1 Calls 2k
FOLD
Villain2 All in for 9.7k
FOLD
FOLD
FOLD
Hero ???

So I feel pretty certain Im ahead of shovers range, folding seems shitty/nitty, .
I can see a case for shoving to iso but doubt Im getting called by much worse ever, and if hes thinking he may flat a real strong hand to induce a squeeze from villain2, button or one of the deeper regs in the blinds. I dont know (someone smarter than me can hopefully explain it better) but I dont think shoving can really be that bad but it can't be optimal with 24 blinds behind.

Can I flat pre re evaluate on the flop and jam a wide range of flops where I find a little equity? Check/Call the very top part of my showdown range and monsters on certain flops  ? Can still fold flops I completely whiff on with 24-25 BBs on a table I should find some resteal spots on. Seems kind of awkward.

Iso shove >> Flat w/ intent to jam wide >>>>> Fold is how Im leaning.

Who were V 1 & 2?  I SHOVE.  If we go by what you say and he's semi comp then he could be 3bet sqz with any pair, a bunch of A's (AK-A8s, KQ-KT, QJ, JT… all pairs)  at tht point in the tourney it started to get somewhat Turbo-y.  Hope I wasn't either Vill, lol  ISO go vs Vill 2.

I don't think you should ever flat and let vill 1 in with you …………  In my mind, lets say you flat, Vill 1 folds, you miss the flop and he ships (The Ttwist special “STOP & GO”) You could still be ahead of his ATss, KQdd…….. even if you are behind his 99, 88, 33, you hit dd's or a J or A on turn……  Esp at this point in the tourney……  SHIT IT.
