In a WSOPC evt, just into lvl 3, villan has played a few hands, only hand she made to show down, she was calling large bets with a gut shot that hit.

100/50 lvl just started, I am on the button with essentially a starting stack of 10k, folded to me, I make it 325 with KK.

Villan is in the BB and raises to 825.

I raise to 2400, villan flats.

flop comes down 10s8s4d, she leads out for 5k…..Range this opponent

It is hard to range an opponent whom we deem incompetant without much additional information on why we think that. With that said I think a reasonable range looks something like: TT+, AsJs+, KsQs. If your read on villian is that she is much worse then she could show up some Tx combos as well. I liked that you sized your 4b very large because villain is unlikely to understand 4b bluffing and will most likely 5b shove or call regardless of sizing. Larger sizing means we earn more when she flats and check folds flops. We are fairly happy to get it in preflop and I think we should be fairly happy to get it in on this flop as well. She will rarely show up with a better hand so our best play is to shove over the top of her flop donk to get the money in.

*Can anyone confirm whether or not I used whom correctly in the first sentence?

This is JJ or MORE likely QQ all day long..it's still early in the tourney and now wants to make sure a 'ACE' does not hit the board..it does not so she leads out…no reason for pocket 10's to lead in this spot and it's a cooler if that's the case. Please let us know what the outcome was.

I agree with above. It is most likely QQ or JJ.

When she first raised, I was afraid she may have As until she flatted my 4 bet.  After the flat, I thought she had a AQs+ AKo Js-Ks.

When she led out on the flop, my range narrowed slightly to AQ+ suited in spades to the slight chance she had 10s…but that was remote.

Of course I over shove she insta calls and turns over pocket 8s….FML!

Another thing that happened at this table, some kid gets to the table and says “I just found out my GF is cheating on me and I am gonna go in every hand.”

He does, then proceeds to knock out 3 people in about 12-15 hands…and the kid is goin all in blind….hitting 4 card flushes, spiking a J when he is all in against A9 when he has J7…..was just sick.

With his 40k+ stack, he then leaves and does not return before I go bust on this hand I describe in this thread.  OOO and the chick was a replacement player for one of the ones he knocked out, so his all in fest cost me my tourney life indirectly….
