If I have AJ unsuited and I'm big blind should I raise or check? If I was in any other position I would raise here but it's tempting to just see the flop, and not undergo another round of betting particularly when your less likely to get others to fold when they've already put in.

What are others thoughts on this matter?

Thanks,
Chris

Depends wholly on the action in front of you. But an extremely general thought is you want to make the pot bigger when you have a big hand. In theory you would just check there with 58 off suit, why do the same with AJ?

Yes, your question is way too general. Do you have one or more limpers in front of you? How loose or tight have they played so far? Do you have any suspicious limps (like some players who will always do the old Johnny Chan)? How many players are at the table? How many chips do you have and what is the average? Ante/no-ante, stage of the tourney etc. Also there is more than one way to play a hand in a specific situation.

Most generally speaking, like Sonic said, a raise with a good hand seems like a good idea.

Question is way, way too vague. We need stack sizes, player reads, positions, etc etc. But as an extremely general blanket idea, you're very rarely going to be in a position where it's not a good idea to raise with a hand as strong as AJo when players are limping in – they're unlikely to limp with better hands than AJo, so you're likely very far ahead of their ranges with a lot of fold equity.
