BB checks, Hero checks

River: (t29282) 5 of spades (2 players)
BB bets t10000.00

here is my thought process. I raise with A9, i get called and i a make my cb on the flop where i get called again. Turn what? After the bet on the flop i have 29 bb and if i bet again at the turn (what amount?)lets say at least 15000 my stack will be digressed at 23 bbs. My point is that because its a 3$ tour  if he has any kind of draw like a 7 or flush draw he will call any amount i bet even if i bet the pot. He has the stack to do it. And he maybe even decide to check raise me after i bet the turn or he could easily have a 6 there. with what hands he called my cb at the flop ?so if a can't get him of his draw hand on the turn and afraid of being reraised i should check it to pot control.i have show down value there. Also even if i bet the turn and calls me if a bad card comes even if he doesn't have it he can easily bet bluffe me out of the pot (what would i do there it would be an all in or fold with 22 bb). When i looked the hand at my replayer i thought something else.why not going all in at the turn and let him decide what he wants to do! with this scenario he can't reraise me of my hand, and he will thing it twice to call me with his draw.but is this to aggressive? i would like to see your opinions.

I think that I can find fold here and feel good about it. We still have good stack to get our chips back with interest 🙂

And I agree with Yours check behind the turn. This card dont improve our range at all, and he is not going to fold anything he called flop with, also there are probability that he can check/jam this turn. With such river so much draws completed, that it’s simple fold for me.

I don't like your idea of jamming the turn.  Your stack is too big for that.  Basically, I think your stack is just big enough so that you don't want to play for your entire stack, and playing a smaller pot is best.  I actually like the way you played it, and I'd call the river.  I know that checking the turn gives a very draw-heavy board a chance to complete draws, but I think that's compensated for by the benefit of keeping the pot small in this situation….your hand isn't after all a monster.

I'm betting about 18-20k on the Turn here.
