Quick question guys
When you have one limper in the pot and it folds to you and you want to raise, is it still ok to raise your standard open plus an extra bb for each limper. What about with 2 limpers. Is raising 5x pre-flop to big of a raise now with 2 limpers? Just looking for a general rule for bet sizing when you have limpers.
Examples
Blinds 1/200 and your on the button with 1010. MP+1 open limps and you raise to 700? is that to big? I've seen the pros raise a standard 3x even with a limper.
Blinds 1/200 and your on the button with 1010 and MP+1 open limps and the cutoff open limps. Are we raising to 900 / 1000 ish here?
thanks fellas

In general that's fine. I adjust based on a couple things.
1. Position – I'll make it just a little higher if I'm in the SB or BB
2. Who the limper(s) is/are – If I have a very strong hand and the limper is a station I may even add a little more to my raise size since they'll call anyway.
So in your example of 100/200 blinds and a single limp instead of 700 I may make it 900 if I feel confident he's still calling.
