This hand is deep in the Sunday Storm. Read-less as I just moved to the table 4 hands ago. Thinking I should have just jammed this pf. Do you c-bet this as played or check/fold…and why?

With 15bb it's a clear openshove. You should be openshoving your whole shoving range from around 20bb. Tighter range in ep and wider in lp.

Raising with a 15bb stack just puts you into awkward spots where you could have to fold postflop loosing a decent amount of chips compared to your remaining stack. Just ship and get called by worse or and see five cards or pick up a nice stackincrease.

I agree with you that a jam preflop is probably best but as played I am now just jamming the flop. If you get called then you still have your 6 outs, you could even be called by worse and most of the time they will fold to a shove. There is no way I am cbet betting and then folding. If you were slightly deeper then you could maybe check/raise to all in but with your stack that is not an option. Just get it in.

TY guys. Yeah I figured as much…should've got it in pre, I did overbet jam the flop of 892r (which I thought may be spewy) and both players called…KK & JT, kings held.

Please dont fold.

I tend to disagree with some here, escpecially since its a $ 11 buyin. With around 15bb I am going with my AQ here 100% of the time, if you just minraise you might get hands you dominate to ship on you, like KQ, AT etc. The fish dont know you are never folding and that a minraise is indicative of strength here.

If you have shipped before you should ship it now too, but if not Im minraising. It sucks that you get called, but Im never folding, I bet to hopefully take it down if raised I have no option but to call.

It is easy to play perfectly against a 15bb JAM, but when you just open, you give other people the option to spew.

As played just get it in no matter what. I do prefer less variance play and shove preflop here tho.

Jam pre because it's your first orbit there so there is no dynamic to think that doing anything else would get better results.

at this point of a tourney im very rarely raiseing for action in this spot im more inclined to shove as it looks so much weaker and i get called by so much junk it not funny haveing a 14 bb stack and just opening just screams AQ minimum so put it in here everytime imo
