Hey Bigdogpckt5s

I watched your vid on the 45 man sngs bankroll builder series and I thought it was great.

I started to play a few of them but they didnt fill up as fast as i needed so i started playing the 18 man turbos 6$ and 11$.
Ive been doing pretty well in these but am still making some errors with regards to ranges and other things. The question is what you would think an attainable ROI would be for these as well as the 45 mans (considering playing 4-8 tables). Right now im getting about 18% after about 100 but i know i am still making some errors I just wanted to know what to aim for and maybe if you had time or any of the other pros could do a series on these.

I've been playing the $6 18 turbos alot and am ITM ~20% and similar ROI, however, i 'm usually just scraping in with 4ths or 3rds.  As its super fast and your initial stack is small (1.5K) you need to confidently play with calculated aggression. Players get into Jam/Fold play very quickly and this is a part of my game that I'm still honing.  Over the past few months I've played more 90 KOs with 3K starting stack and have found that it is less tense/demanding and I've been able to improve my ROI a little easier.  It also provides greater opportunities for PF play and 'creativity'.  I've also started palying lower stakes ($2-3) OD games and prefer them over the racing 18 maxs.  These games have been relatively soft and i feel that I have a competetive edge.

My initial attraction to the 18 maxs was that they generally run <1hr… and i could play a heap of games in quick succession, but at my current 'nit-esque' level I was losing more than I'm comfortable with.

So, I'm also keen to get some advice on whether these 18max tourneys are any chop?  I recently posed this question in an earlier thread.

15% sounds high for 18 mans even at the 6.50 level.

I have sucky internet connection right now but it shouldnt be to hard to find out who the best long term players in these games are by using sharkscope leaderboards. Should get some idea of whats possible. But the very best are probably 3% better than the good regs so there stats need to be viewed with a dose of realism when us mere mortals start setting our goals! 🙂
