Can someone explain this to me please ive seen moorman and neverscaredb in tournaments late getting loads of chips in pre with aq like 35-40bbs + and they have won millions when i get it in deep with aq i normally to lose ak or qq or kk,

it makes me not want to play the hand, is it because they lose a lot of the time with this hand but when they do win the pot they win a huge pot and so can win the tournament?

perhaps they got the right situation  liek ran into the bottom end of the calling/shovin range.

or they ran like a god that night..

i think in the long run for every time ace queen holds up in a video for example,, to make a final table,, there are more where ti doens't hold up and they bust out early.

The thing with those guys is that they are extremely loose agressive and can expect to be 3/4-bet quite a bit. Of course it is always situation/opponent dependant and I'm sure they had a good reasoning for getting it in on those spots.

Knowing your percieved image/stats is key for knowing what ranges of hands you can get in against certain players for a certain amount of bbs. There have been times where I have 3/5 bet 44 for value vs certain opponents when I have been very active. Also depends on what stage of the tournament of course. Mid game you are “going for it” where as final two tables ICM comes into play and peoples ranges tighten up.

Also dont forget that alot chips come from the times when people are folding to your shoves.
Lets say you are 3betting alot and someone 4bets you. If Moorman 5betshoves AQ his opponent might fold like 50%.

So 50% you are getting all those chips for free. And lets say 30% you are flipping (55-JJ and 20% you are kinda crushed.
But even when you are crushed (vs AA KK AK) you win sometimes!

Getting in hands like AQ and mip pairs for 40bbs preflop usually requires an opponent or dynamic that involves a lot of 3b and 4b bluffing. A lot of the value in 4 or 5b shoving hands like that come from fold equity. If you are playing smaller stakes where that is not likely then you are more likely to run into the nuts when they play back at you.
