with 30+ bigs should we initially be flatting the UTG +1 raise or are we happy to try and get it in pre?

When Glenhelder decides to stick the best part of 90 bigs straight in our eye what range do we assign him?

Without any reads on my opponents, I think your 3 bet is fine and get it in pre. Would not like flatting here with your stack

You have an UTG+1 open, MP 3 bet and then the jam from the big blind. Would the villian jam with AA or KK, maybe but unlikely, a 4 bet would be more likely to induce one of you guys to jam. I would take these hands out of his range, yes have seen them jam those hands in this situation (to look weak), but I will have to go with the majority line here and rule out those hands.

I think the only other hands he would do this with is AK (Maybe AQs) or JJ. So what do you do? You either have him crushed or in a race?

Tough spot, I personally can't fold here.

If he jammed AA or KK good for him I guess, since he ran into 1 of only 2 hands that's gonna call him which he beats.

Doubt I ever fold here on Stars. I'm going for a huge stack.

i prefer flatting pre, unless you been super aggro 3b and 4b and showing down marginal stuff, cuz you really just tightened up your range there where 99/TT fold behind, even JJ. your getting cold 4bet here with AK alot but also KK/AA is deff there. put it this way, if i was villian and i saw an EP open and a 3bet in MP from not aggro players, I would deff just cold 4bet stuff KK/AA to make it look like AK and get called by TT/JJ/QQ. however, im not sure if hes thinking that way. anyway, your like 40% against AK, KK+. if there is a chance he spazzes with AQs or JJ here then yea its a call. otherwise, i might just nit fold.

I am calling in this particular spot unless reads warrant otherwise.

yeah i just meh call too

stars has players that do this with JJ AK AQ.. and 3bet folding QQ with 35bbs feels horrible

as hawkeye says though reads or HUD may warrant a different line?
