hey

only played 1 hand vs v which they raised it up from LP ,they bet flop bet turn and folded to hero's mini raise ott. effective stacks were like 15-18bb

i usually tend to bet otf here espically when OOP , but i went for a different line here.

do u think i should of at least bet turn and river? to get value of maybe lower pairs? or did i play it okay as played?

Gotta always bet this flop.  K high board and you 3bet pre oop.  That board screams you and it is important you take your cbet opportunity here.  1/3 pot is all you need and its a great play.

Hawkeye,

If Hero had air, I’d agree with you. Why is it so important to bet when he has QQ?

FAP,
I don’t see you getting more than one street from this hand, and I like the flop check. On this particular turn, which makes some new second best hands and a lot of draws possible, I’d rather bet and then check a lot of rivers. On a more innocuous turn, I like checking again and trying to get value on river.

Focault, what if we were in postion then ,on this exact same run out , would you had bet turn and checked back river or would you decide to go for 2 streets on turn and river as it would have been very likely for v to bet turn with their Kx.

Most likely, yes, I think that's sound reasoning. I'm way more likely to bet any turn from OOP, and then river will depend on how much gets there but probably bet more often than not.
