I have been recently working on my less than 10bb shove ranges using pushfoldcharts.com. It has been quite helpful. In the past when I had less than 10bb I just shoved any decent hands including most suited connectors from late position or Ax Kx Qx hands. Now I feel like I have more of a plan when I get short.
My question is this in turbo mtts when folded to in late position with less than 6 bbs is it more important to take the steal spots that I can (as you dont get folded to very much on the button or cutoff) or to stick with the push/fold ranges. For example folding King rag or Queen rag hands or suited 2 or 3 gappers (57s, 58s, or 59s). These hands are folds according to these charts even down to 3bbs in some cases from late position. Its just frustrating when you get deep in a turbo mtt and are waiting for a hand to shove and you have to fold these spots. And assuming there are competent players in the blinds. I guess you can shove ATC w fish in the blinds, because they are calling too tight? Let me know what you think please and let me know if you have any other push fold resources.

The ranges given by that web site are too tight. With antes and 6 BBs, the push/fold charts I have show that I should push 63% of hands. According to that site with 6 BBs and antes you should push 48%. I just checked that one line, but I would assume if they are off by 24% of the range here, they are off in other places.
Try finding another push/fold chart. I think Chris Moon posted shove charts to one of his videos on TPE.

Thanks for the reply. I checked out Chris Moons shove chart and I converted M to BBs so when M=2, bb is about 5 with antes. And Pushfoldcharts.com shoves the button with 22+ Kx+ Q2s+ Q6o+ J5s+ J8o+ T6s+ T8o+ 97s+ 86s+ 76s+
And Chris Moon 22+ Kx+ Q4s+ Q8o+ J7s+ J9o+ T7s+ T9o+ 97s+ 86s+ 76s+ 65s+
So they seem pretty similar if not a bit looser than Chris Moon. And when you refer to 63% or 48% what position are you talking about?

You should study charts, but it's important to know what you're studying. If it's a default shoving range chart, it's probably an 'unexploitable' shove range chart, which means it doesn't factor in anything to do with the calling ranges of the villains behind you.
What I would recommend is to learn the unexploitable shoving ranges as a backup, but focus in-game on identifying which spots require a deviation from them. For example, if you find a spot where you're on the button and the chart says you should shove 40%, but the villains in the blinds are both extremely tight and aren't calling with standard ranges, it'd be a mistake not to open up your range.
Charts are good to help you learn the basics, but relying on them too much will severely limit you in the long term. In general, just play hands, review them, plug them into ICMIZER and see if you got them right.
