Hey guys,
New to the site, I only play Live Poker and am still learning. My questions are with regards to the Push/Fold strategy.
I found the below sites: …..ring/#bb10, …../hune.html
Does anyone have better links?
Mainly can you use the Push/Fold strategy at a full table when short handed because everything I have only provide Heads Up?
What is the Call strategy and guide if someone pushes all in often to your raise or ahead of you? What hands would we need to call each number of blinds?

You're asking such a loaded questions. So many variables to poker. The buyins, blinds, your tbl, the guy/girl jamming, your image, their image, in money out of money, near money…………
I common theme for online is 20bbs is jamming area. live it's closer to 10bbs at times, 10-15bb….. Live can even be 6-10bb if the tourney is really fast and shallow.

Thanks but my question isn't regarding when to jam as I understand the variables. I am simply looking for a current (2013) Push/Fold chart and a Push/Call Chart. Also, do you guys employ this strategy with success?

ok, NO, I don't believe in a push/fold chart. Yes, they can give you a bassline. Like I said before……so many dynamics, it's NOT just the cards you have. At times, it doesn't have to do anything with your cards.
Yeah, of course you want to have a great hand when you push/jam, but you have to remember poker is much more then just the cards at times. Again, I would go back to my original post.
THere's no miracle chart that is going to help you. It's YOU and your feel for the game and spots/moments.
Only way to truly learn (**** the charts) is to play/experience. I know because when I started playing in 2007 I was horrible and dead money, I've gotten a little better playing LIVE. Then I played (2007 WSOPC in AC mega satty) with this Canadian poker player who wouldn't stop talking about his online game and his online friend who's a big PRO and eventually learned the game from them and a group of their friends.
There names were Tim & Casey. You may recognize the first names from the Pro roster, lol.
Not sure what they or the other pros would say, but I get the charts, I just believe the only true way to get all the dynamics (when to push/fold ect) is in you as a player.
I hope that helps some. Since you are beginning this site will play you out. I believe in TPE and the pros advice. Lots of great players on the site who aren't pros. Ask questions……………

Hey mate, I know what you are going through, poker is a game of incomplete information, and sometimes its hard to really know exactly where the line is, and what is right or wrong in regards to push fold maths and all that when there is that little son of a bitch called variance that can make you feel like you must have played terribly when you lose 40 buy ins in a day or trick you into thinking you can go pro or something crazy when you are on a heater.
Anyways I found this resource to be really helpful, kinda hard to use in game, but review hands and spots after a session, have a play around with the numbers, you can see what is marginal, what is hugely profitable, etc.
What I will say is this though, don't use this as the be all and end all, just become comfortable with the shoving ranges, then adjust based on HUD stats and table dynamic, a overly simple example is paying attention to the blinds fold to steal percentages when you are button, and adjusting your shoving range from there, etc.
And P-Aire is right, nothing can replace the experience and knowledge gained from simply putting in the time.

i recommend you watching the videos of
shallow stack play
3 bet shoves
short stack boot camp 1 and 2
and in particular is
bigdogpckt5s Absolute 15k
In this video the bigdog teaches us how to work a 10bb stack to the final table….and ride it all the way to a heads-up match.
and despite it being 2013, and not 2010,, once you have a range, it can work for you.. example in that video, comment a fellow brought up the kill everyone book,,and said casey pushes was totally opposit of kill everyone but it worked for casy in the video.
