Hi guys,

Jumped into the 3 dollar turbo (4 times!) for a quick blast but ended up deep with one. Afraid I didnt manage to save the hand but the information should be fairly accurate:

-Last 55 (obv all money on FT)

– I have a 132k stack

– Blinds are 10k/5k..antes..8k therefore total pot= 23k

Blinds due to rise in less than one minute to 1200/600

M=5.7

-We are at a full table, variety of stacks at the table but no-one so short they have to call. BB has circa 200k, SB has circa 140k

– Dealt 66, Utg

Q. My question is, is this a push. If so how low are you pushing with regard to pocket pairs. If not..what are you pushing?

Secondly what aces are you pushing here. Seem to have difficulty know what aces to push from early position given how badly they do against calling ranges.

Thanks cool

I struggle with this too – utg at full ring w/ weak aces and low PP.

The fact its a turbo effects my decision here, but I'd also think about how teh table has been playing and how keen the players are to call me, with what must be overcards in this case.  Also whats your image like?  If youve not been actiive at all then you'll get a lot more respect.  If youve raised / pushed much in the last couple of orbits then, depending on what youve shown, maybe less respect.

As a default I'm sure I'm pushing 88, probs 77, and depending on above mentuioned table dynamics 66 could well be pushed here too.

As for weak aces, A9s & AJo.

Like I say it all depends on dynamics at table / my image.

Yeah,

sorry didnt include anything about my image as  I seriously doubt many were giving much thought to that.

They were more or less playing their cards and without knowing it ranging according to my stack.

At a push I guess I had a fairly tight image. Big suckout hand happened at previous table and I had'nt showed down any hands having shoved a few times when folded to in late position.

Alot of people seemed to know to call light BVB. Calling too light if anything. Button open shoves though seemed to get more respect.

Usual overvaluing of Ace rag and in places broadways like KQ, QJ and lower pocket pairs was evident fairly evident at table when it came to calling all ins.

Alot of people min raising premiums to induce light reshoves which seemed to be highly successful regardless of the raise representing a blatant change in the openers raise size.

I push this here. I mean if you have 16 or 17 bigs I think you can fold. But your shorter then that and blinds are going up. I defenetly push here.

Thanks BD!

What aces do you push here? More generally I find it hard to pull the trigger with Ace rag given how often we are dominated when called…ther must be spots where you would sooner shove JTs than A70??

Or iis that something that I am giving too much importance to?

these are those spots where you hate shoving and hate folding, but folding is slightly more sucky so its a shove.
