I am a bit puzzled by early position push/fold ranges with between 8-10 bb's. I was faced with QJo utg at a 9 handed table in the late stages of a MTT recently. I decided to shove. I'm not sure if shoving QJo with 9 bigs UTG at a 9 handed table late in the tournament is standard or completely bad?

chucking the scenario into a nash calculator gives you a pretty decent starting point.

Feel free to post the hand, things like buy-in, avg stack size at the table/mtt, entrants, bubble, ICM etc are quite relevant to know if you can push or not.
From first sight I'd fold, I never like to shove through 8 people with hands that if called are most of the time dominated. I'd hit the blinds and rather shove light in late position.
