So, I am currently struggling with going all in preflop versus on the flop/turn/river.  The villian in this case was rather loose and made some real interesting calls.  He essentially got lucky in building his chip stack, so I knew that he would call pretty much with any ace combination.  Preflop, I raised him to see if I could narrow his range down a bit.  He had no qualms in previous hands getting into a raising battle with any pocket paris which is how he gained most of his chips.  I figured I was in good position when he flatted my raise preflop initially.

Post flop, I knew he was going for the check raise.  Because, I had him on no pair preflop, I truly thought I had the best hand post flop at that point.

I am interested in any and all opinions.  Feel free to post.

Looks pretty much perfect to me.

Maybe make your 3bet pre like 2.5x-3x and get more value if you think he is calling any raise regardless of sizing, building the pot being that deep.

I am never folding here vs that type of player who will stack off top pair or mid pair like that. If he had a set or JJs+ nh him.
