Is this pre raise too small bearing in mind that 90% of this table are fish but will fold to raises?

i actually think its a little small, and my experience on 888 is that they WILL call a bunch.

I would say its a little too small, especially being oop. There is also an argument just to be shipping this pre. If we ship and get folds we win 825 in chips, but more importanly, we dont put in 1/3 of our stack pre and have to check/fold when we miss the flop 2/3 of the time. Luckily someone spazzed out and you could get it in pre.

It’s the whole “no-antes” thing for me.  I’ve been re-listening to the older TPE podcasts about wasting chips without antes as the pot isn’t worth it.

I nearly shoved this and would have on Stars or with antes, but the 888 field is so soft I can get so much more value out of any actual made hand without risking 3 callers to a shove with a playable stack.  Looking at the pot now though, there is probably enough to risk getting 3 callers.  Any other site, this is a shove easily:)

Anyway, just my thoughts at the time 😛

with your stack size i think raising to 775 and folding any flop will be a mistake, i think you should just rip it in pre….i dont hate the raise if you know your stacking every flop tho

if you jam and they fold, you will be adding 675 to your stack which is a near 20% addition to your stack, and your equity when they do call is great, you are never ever crushed here, you are either flipping or have them dominated (most likely flipping). so with all that dead money out there i think shoving is awesome. yes, its no antes, but all those limpers generate more dead money than what antes do anyway
