Hey TPE,  Finding myself on a pretty big downswing or I just suck and need to go back to playing checkers with my 11 year old son.  His allowance is only $10 a week.  Really hard to turn that into a big profit.  I cant keep giving him allowance extensions.  Thanks

This is a micro stake on Merge.  We are ITM with maybe 50 players left.

1500/3000

Villain 1 has 17BB and stats of 21/6 over 34 hands                                                          V1 limps

Villain 2 has 40 BB and stats of 28/19          raise from ep 21% over 462 hands                 V2 raises 3X

Hero has 40 BB and holds 44                                                                          my play   Fold ?   call ?  raise?

SB has 20BB and has been tight over 16 hands

BB has 14BB and stats of 21/18 with 3-Bet of 8% over 47hands

Thanks for the feed back.

I'm pretty sure folding is probably the best line to take , if we 3-bet and v calls it's not going to be “fun” having a hand like 4s post flop ,much rather have a hand that has better post flop playability. As for flat calling stacks are way to shallow may also set up a 3-bet shove from the blinds , given that they have re-steal stacks , makes me wanna just fold pre flop even more.

Yeah pretty clear fold pre given there are three players (SB, BB, UTG) who will all be pretty jam happy. Doesn't seem like V2 is so bluff-heavy that you can print money three-betting him with any two. Calling is by far the worst option.

Thanks guys, I did fold.  After looking at HH I was not sure if this could be a light 3-bet spot.  Looks super strong, can still fold to a shove from the big stacks, I have position if called.

Given that there's 2 re-shove stacks on the blinds , V will be opening up pretty strong, unless  of course you think that he thinks that it's a good spot to steal  as the players on the blinds are on the  tighter side.

So yeah this could be a good spot to 3-bet v , question is which hands are you going to 3-bet with?
