I am very new to TPE, an online training all together, it has been less than ideal.  I will apologize in advance for the very basic question.

This is probably too elementary for this site, but seems to be one of the biggest leak in my game right now.  Is there somewhere on this site or somewhere that give you an idea on what ranges we should RFI, calling, 3-betting, calling 3-bets, base on position and stack sizes. Or even something as simple as range percentages I should be using is these spots, so I can construct my own ranges with some of the software I have.  Every time I have used the search feature on the site, I get circled back to having to buy a package, so that is less than helpful considering I have already invested the money once.  Any advise on where I can find some info would be appreciated.

I’m assuming you have a monthly subscription to the videos. EDIT: I watched 5 minutes of it and the video I recommended is too outdated, and not as useful as I remember it being. I’ll look for a different suggestion and get back to ya.

If you want a more cookie-cutter approach to picking ranges, you can get some good RFI charts free from upswing poker, but they are designed for 100bb play, so you’ll need to know how to adapt them as stacks get shorter. Regardless, it will give you an idea of which hands are strong from each position. A general rule of thumb is to favor hands that make more strong pairs, and raise with less hands that get most of their value from making straights and flushes. For example, at 100bb I think A5s is a much better hand to open UTG than KQo, at 25bb I would argue that the opposite is true.

Should be able to use the search feature…can’t think of a TPE sub whereby you can’t access premium videos but can post in the forum…sometimes I have to log out and log back in to be able to access the video library.

WRT RFI, not sure I can help…Ginger45 might point you in the right direction.

Can’t beat wisdom borne of experience, however. This becomes intuitive…the wisdom, I mean.

I’ve been looking for something like this too. Have you found anything? I found the Jennifear.com ranges, but I know it’s based on NASH, so not sure if it’s helpful?

Be very wary of using charts. They can be useful at the very beginning, but the biggest issue is it’s impossible for you yourself to identify the point at which they’ve become a crutch for you to lean on, and start holding you back. Every situation is difficult, so conditioning yourself to be able to adapt and figure out why XYZ hand or range is profitable to raise in a certain spot is far more beneficial than simply being able to list the hands themselves.
