Hello guys, it´s my first post on TPE forum so I hope I don´t mess it up.

It´s middle stages of the tournemant, I have a nice stack and have been active on the table but not a maniac.

The villan is 21/18 with a 11% of Tot 3bet.

Is this a good fold?

With 99+ AQ+ I would call.

Is it ok to 4bet/fold against a 30 BB stack?

Should I have played just for set value?

CAROCHA II (MP1): BB = 10.9, t4350

Kotch0904 (MP2): BB = 65.4, t26163
Hero (CO): BB = 51.7, t20670
johann2707 (BTN): BB = 18.3, t7320
Hsükür (SB): BB = 50.9, t20345
hajal (BB): BB = 31.3, t12500
Fara191 (UTG): BB = 18.8, t7500
Engenhéro (UTG+1): BB = 25.2, t10068
Topvorm (UTG+2): BB = 23.6, t9434

Pre Flop: (t1050) Hero is CO with 7 of hearts 7 of diamonds
5 folds, Hero raises to t800, 2 folds, hajal raises to t2150, Hero raises to t4400, hajal raises to t12450 all in, 1 fold

Final Pot: t9450
hajal wins t9450

Thanks

Definitely have to call it off after you 4b over 1/3 of his stack. I could see arguments for whether 4b inducing and 4b jamming preflop is the bet play. My standard would be 4b jamming without reads and 4b inducing vs someone who I have an aggressive dynamic with. You could click it back to 3570 and call a shove, but I'm not sure it will be that much more +EV than shoving because it allows him to 5b bluff shove with two overs that he would otherwise folded to a shove.

If theBB is very tight then I would just fold because we are nowhere near deep enough to set mine. We have to call off 1350 with 12500 effective stacks and even with a range of JJ+, AQ+, he will not stack off with JJ on A72r or AQ on J75 so we need much better odds than 1/9.3 effective stacks to profitably set mine. Calling is an option, even though I don't like it, but you would need to be continuing unimproved and even bluff raising some flops in order to make it profitable.

Yea, just push pre; this guy def seems agro enough to pile on as he prob folds around 30-70% of the time (pretty hard to estimate but idk somewhere in there) and I would think he only needs to fold like 35ish% maybe for it to be a good push (could be closer to 40-45% but that seems to high…)

Good points guys, thanks.

I should have 4bet shove since he will fold most of his range, specially considering his stats.

Thanks a lot
