Hi Ron

Sorry I'm new to TPE so not sure where best place to ask this question so hopefully you can point me in right direction.

Basically looking for confirmation regarding a certain hand. I got down to 175 left in MicroMillions main event (65k entrants).

I had been playing pretty well and maintained a good stack throughout but with 300 left got coolered with KK vs. AA and then lost with AK to Q8 hitting runner runner straight.

I didn't get a hand/spot for about 2 orbits and I was left with with 16 BB (c3.2m chips). I wake up with 55 in MP and given my stack I shoved as c500k in middle (BB 200k) and would have little fold equity if went through blinds again. Anway there was only 1 person who could call on lighter side as 3.2m represented a large portion of most peoples stack. The BB with only 6.0m behind called my 3.2m shove with Q9o!

Maybe it's me but this seemed a very loose call seen as I was playing TAG – anyway he turned a 9 and after 9 hours I was out after being in top 20-100 for period when 300-4000 players left. /I just wanted someone's take on this hand – can I fold 55 here (as can't raise/fold) and was the call with Q9 super loose and guy was incredibly lucky I didn't have him crushed..

I look forward to hearing your opinion.

Many thanks

Phil

I am fine with your shove, especially deep in this event where lot of people can fold better hands. Not sure what to say about BB call. Maybe missclick, maybe his favorite hand, maybe just bad play.

Shove is standard here, his call is clearly terrible, he's racing at best. Bad luck, nice run

Cheers Guys – Ron said marginal but he would probably folded so was having second thoguhts. I still think best to error of side of aggression with effective stacks and put max pressure on opponents.
