hey

reads - v is a weak player , loose passive, called hero's 3-bet from lp with 33 vs a sb 3-bet and also tends to call light
post flop.

sizing ott? i'd say 1/2 the pot is fine then we can shove river whether we hit our draw or not.

v caling range on the flop probably 9x 5x 67s, maybe flush draws? pretty sure we can get v to fold 9x otr.

thoughts on hero's post flop line?

cheers.

If you are going to play to get this in, c/raise bigger on the flop 1k-1250 or so and barrel/shove/commit on turn. I probably wouldn't recommend getting in 100 bbs preante very often at all. I think I would just call this flop as hands that you are getting it in vs are better flush draws (yes I know you still have outs), and sets. Yes in a $1 I would play to get it in, but shouldn't really look at it that way.

I totally agree danny, though what’s the chances of someone have a better flush draw then you here, rather slim right? since we are deep stacked i think c/c is decent and then we can re-evaluate on the turn. if we do hit our flush ott we should Call turn if v bets and then on the river either c/c or c/f river , as they’ve probably have stronger hands that beats us.

Oh and I would start by cbetting this flop and that way u can double the ace and potentially triple. Much easier and believable that way.

okay lets just say we did that , c-bet flop , double the ace and river is Theart i really would not know what to do in that spot, there’s 3 options which is to shove, c/c or c/f. There’s going to be just over 5k in the pot on the river , we are going to have like 2k ish behind and v is going to also have around 2k behind (maybe less) The thing is when v calls our turn , what does his range really look like? what the top of v calling range? it’s rather unlikely he’s going to call with a draw dont u think? given the bad pot odds he’s getting , but as u know bad players will call so we cant discount it. We can discount strong hands like 44/55/99/A4/A5/A9 as they’ll shove these on the turn against our turn bet, so again what will v call with ott here? it only leaves draws or some sorta marginal hand like 9x i also think 9x would fold turn , so yeah it just would not make much sense if v calls turn here , shouldn’t they be jamming or maybe even folding their draws on the turn?

I dont know why a bet isnt a fourth option?  you bet $250 into $375 and get called is $875.

Turn bet is $500? and called is $1875

why not a bet like $850 on the river?

b/f river? i dont think we can fold once we bet …there would be around 5k in the pot otr if v calls the turn bet .so if ur gunna bet u might as well shove, if u think ur ahead.  why would u want to b/f?

when you bet river what hands are calling that u have beat? hardly any imo , unlikely he's played a set this way also unlikely he has two pairs in his range so you're not getting value out of that, as he would of shoved turn at the very least. I also doubt there's any Ax in his range either , and if there is he would check these back anyway otr for std,  So i don't think b/f would be good here at all. If v somehow does have a hand like 9x he'd probably check these behind on the river as well , doubt he's calling a bet with it if anything i reckon v should turn a hand like 9x into a bluff otr as that's really going to be at the bottom of his range but i doubt players at these stakes will turn their hand into bluffs.
