Have been at table for 33 hands with villain running at 15/12 and only 16% steal.  Only hand I've shown down is AA.  He's folded to 3bet twice, but not been in confrontation with me.  24 left, think this is a shove or wait for stronger hand?

It's pretty close. These days with almost no one in poker folding a hand I tend to prefer open jamming under 20bb than reshoving hands that can potentially be dominated. I'd jam a suited KQ but fold an offsuit one, I think … based on this particular spot and particular villain because I think he's calling with all pairs and not raising too many weak Ax hands.

I used to think of a reshove stack as between 15-25bbs but these days as coolers pointed out people are less inclined to fold especially to stack sizes closer to 15bbs

17-18bbs is probably the bottom of my reshove stack these days, and so is our hand in this situation KQo

Given that we have a full table of antes, a HJ OR, and a solid tight image though, i'd think this is a +EV play. So i dont think it's wrong to push here depending on his calling range (which he probably tightens vs our tight image)

As we all know though, if we have an edge over the field and time to use this, we're more than likely to come up with more +EV spots in the future to take advantage of – an argument to fold this spot

Pleased you all think it close as I really thought it was too.

Good insight into where we draw the line between steal and resteal…

He called with 99 and I lost the flip

looks like villain realizes stack sizes and sees that hes only folding to the button and after there opening bet size there not folding at this point to any action, to me they dont have a monster and with your withering stack this may be your spot to get a move on, AK and AQ are unlikely so throw your sneakers on cause your raceing everytime in this spot, win a flip imo

I'm interested in adjusting the stacks in this situation…

we're saying 20-25 BB its a shove cos we have enough FE, so would we shove if he had a smaller stack and we have the same stack? What about….

1) Hero 17bb, villain 25bb?

2) Hero 28bb, villain 28bb?

3) Hero 35bb, villain 25bb?
