Thought about shoving  but 28bb seemed too much v utg big stack, so thought I'd see flop.  Check on flop is for deception / pot control, but felt like some value on turn, but didnt like his cr as it pretty much states he's gotta lead river – therefore dont like my turn call so much but i think i was just hoping for him to check it…

Should have played more agg?  Villain 19/19 over 21 hands FWIW, I'd 3bet him twice before pf (fold:  call – check fold flop)

Seems fine Sammy. I think the CR comes on the flop if you bet and your reasons for not betting are solid. His line looks to strong and valuish so I am folding river.

agree with Hawkeye here that his line looks super strong…i cant see much that we are ahead of.  I tend to believe him in this spot.

under 30 bigs here isnt an awful 3 bet shove at all, you have 28 bigs and villains opening range is super wide, he opens for 500$ so if you just use a standard 3x 3 bet it should be to about 1500$ leaving you with 20 bigs, and then he calls and you have to c bet a whiffed flop and thats going to be about 9-10 bigs and then what now if he puts you all in you going to fold? and leave yourself with 11 bigs doubt it, i like the make it look weak approach pre and get him to spaz with Aj or A10 suited or any under pair that i have zero problem flipping with at this point.
