i said great a raise i will call and see what happens.  i know this is near the magic 20 bb reshove range,, however i wanted to play a big pot with the bb .

sunami was bossing the table for a while here and building up his stack and he went deep.

so i saw him raise,, i was preparing to come over the tope hoping for ace king when i saw the orignal raiser go all in.

i folded for i put them both on monsters.

ace king vs jacks queens.

are you guys calling the reraise/all ins and hoping to flop a ten ? like is it time to gamble ?

I am 3bet jamming 1010.  Your 20bb stack is a good size for a 3bet jam.   I am looking for spots to pick up chips to win the tournament, not worrying about just moving up the pay ladder.

Definitely jam pre or 3 bet pre.  I udnerstand you wanting to keep the BB in the hand, but TT isnt the hand to be doing that with, you can do that stuff with QQ+, TT just doesnt have the equity 3 way for it to have a lot value.

After the squeeze and reshove your fold is good.  The squeeze sizing helps us out a lot, this isnt a normal sizing(over 4x, even with a caller, is a lot), this leads us to beleive squeezing as a bluff istn something our villain is doing often so he has a range of smoehting like AQs+ 99+.  The reshove, if he picks up on this like we do, will therefor have a very simialr range to that(with our dead money in the pot +blinds/antes, this range should be fine).  And we are not in great shape agasint  99+AQs+, let alone two ranges like that.

With all that siad, this is still a good spot to shove/raise, the only time I might flat ehre is if there are a lot of reshoving stakcs behind that we can get to squeeze shove with marginal hands and small pocket pairs, that our hands plays well against.  Without this read, we should simply be getting it in.

We should be 3 betting against spaz good players when the meta game is right. If we have a good image, esepcailly with good histroy versus opponent, we can 3 bet here.  This however only works if villain thinks you will 3 bet fold a non zero amount of the time.  The hands we can induce are pretty much entirely favorable in our equity versus his range.  Most of the hands he will r/c here are the hands we dont want to see, a tentaive range being AJs+, 77+.  This includes a vast majority of the hands that play well verus our hand(JJ+, and all hands flipping except for KJ/QJ/KQ).  If we raise to induce we might include these hands but we may also include hands like, A8/55 type hands which we play VERY well against.

However majority of the time our image isnt set up for this and a shove is fine and massively +EV.
