So you’ve manage to to accumilate over 150 bb early in a tourment and are one of the top 20. To maintan a pace should you be agressive or slow down. Also what kind of things should one look for agianst shorter stacks at this stage assuming players are average skill and are playing semi tight.

This is a really generic question, so answering it is tough.  The best thing to do is take what the table is giving you.  If they are allowing you to open up, then you can successfully open up.  The opposite also holds true.

 

There are no absolutes in poker.  Remember that there aren’t rules for certain situations, simply strategies that are more effective than other.
