Hi Team
I have a good stack (relative to the fact it is a SNG so generally isnt very deep). Results aside i feel like i did not take a very good line here and got myself in a situation in which i probably should never have been in. I am thinking a fold pre-flop or check – fold after the flop would have beenthe correct course of action. Failing that a check fold on the turn…and failing that a check fold on the river
I think if it had of been more than a min bet i would have folded pre-flop but i felt like with those odds i should be calling. Would love any thoughts.

I don't think the problem is the pre-flop call but rather your post-flop line. Presumably Villain, a tight player opening UTG, has a rather tight range. I'd encourage you to stove your hand against his likely betting range on this flop. Quite possibly, you can just check-fold the flop.
Failing that, I see no reason to lead the turn or river. Your bets aren't big enough to make him fold better, and I don't see him calling with worse.
They key to making pot odds calls like this pre-flop profitable is to recognize that they are “crying calls” and that you don't have to win the pot very often to make them profitable. That means you can be very selective after the flop about whether and how you proceed. You don't have to go to showdown every time you flop middle pair just because you called getting 4:1 pre-flop.
