I would like to know the opinions of the tpe nation on playing big draws…..i.e. open ended straight flush , flush draw with 2 overs, in general situations where you have more than ten outs if you assume that, even if you get called, your draw will win you the hand….. have been put on the spot in the last couple of tour that I have played by either my c-bet being jammed when I have a monster draw or I am in a spot where I don't want to give up the lead when I opened and miss the flop, in general are you willing to get it in without a made hand and a monster draw? …….just wondering what the nation thinks….

Generally with a monster draw I want to get in all my chips first to put my opponent to the test. This also gives us FE. In the first levels of the tournament pre-ante when we are really deep I'm usually not going to play my big draws too fast. Later on in the tournament when there a lot more chips in the middle it becomes much more “standard” to get it in with your monster draw. Either way if we ever have an open ended flush I highly doubt we can fold unless something crazy happens.  Recognizing your stack and your opponent's stack is crucial in how you should play the monster draw. For example if you feel like your c-bet could easily get jammed then I prefer check jamming. Either way we are obv not bet folding and we don't hate it when we get called. I just prefer to have FE, obv.

A good rule of thumb is that 14 outs on the flop will give you about 50/50 to win the hand against a single pair.  This means that if you think your opponent has something like AclubAdiamond on a Qspade5heart6heart flop and we have 7heart8heart, then we are 56% to win.  Early in a tournament, you're be risking your tournament where you'll get knocked out 44% of the time.  So your open ended straigh flush draw doesn't look nearly as good.  Other than that, I agree with jludeobv.
