Anyone know anything about him?

Also, my HU game is terrible, so any advice would be awesome.

Sign up for Bluefire Poker tonight and watch his videos lol … but seriously, depending on the event you're in the $100 you spend to do that might be well worth it.

For what it's worth I've watched some vids by him and he can definitely shift gears any time he has to and has a great mind for the game. He's going to be a very tough opponent.

Haha, I actually did think about that.

The structure's really 'good', so it's gonna be real tough.  We'll see, maybe I can get lucky.

UPDATE: I lost in 57 hands.  Down 3:1 in chips, lost a flip A8o vs. 55

My strategy was to play with 'controlled chaos'…since I knew he was better than me, I had a RNG up and a system for mixing up my play randomly (i.e. preflop raise sizing, 3Bs, and random postflop crap).  I was hoping this would cause him to read stuff into my play that wasn't actually there.

I think it was a good idea, but it didn't end up working out this time.  I also think I made some mistakes and didn't use it properly.

For example, I was up early on level two when I got into a 3B pot w/QTo.  Flop came down K9x rainbow, and my RNG told me 'make a weird play'.  So after he led about 2/3 pot, I raised 2.5x and he called.  What I SHOULD have done was then follow through on the turn, but I ended up wussing out and checking turn/folding river blanks.

It also caused me to spew off a good % of my stack on a weird river bluff raise IP that he insta-called with a middle pair.

I think it would have worked better if he was actually giving me credit as a thinking player, but since I was just some rando contest winner to him, he probably wasn't operating on the level I needed him to for my rando-spazz strategy to work.

Oh well.
