Everybody has around 50k in stacks. Blinds are 100/200 antes 25
Preflop: Hero is BB with T T
UTG+2 folds, MP1 raises to 600, 3 folds, BTN raises to 1,800, SB folds, Hero calls 1,600, MP1 folds
Flop: (4,500) 8 5 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets 2,600, Hero raises to 6,200, BTN calls 3,600
Turn: (16,900) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets 10,955, BTN calls 10,955
River: (38,810) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets 30,895 and is all-in, BTN calls 30,595 and is all-in
For me my hand look really strong. I mean i can only have 44,55,88,99 to beat him. But the line I take. Doesnt it look superstrong?
I mean i waste a 50k stack at 100/200 and kinda butcher the hands in one seens. So much question is. Is this superbad? If so, why?
Is it good? Then why is it good?
In the hand Villian had AA. Would you have called down with aces there?
Aces are like a bluffcatcher in that spot? And what hand if he putting me on that is bluffing?
Maaaybe he think im overplaying KK/QQ?
IMO the villan here only believes u here if you had c/c the flop and maybe lead the turn. Looks like he has invested so much by the river he is never folding. He has pretty much committed himself(or made his decision) on the turn. Maybe a 4 Bet pre would establish where you are in this hand since you are playing this hand OOP. What range does he put you on when you flat overcall his 3bet 88+ but when he sees an 8 on the turn its unlikely you have 88 here and if you got there on the river then oh well and he fells like he put too much in and now he cant fold.
Did he have fishy tendencies? In this case you are never blowing him off AA he is married to his hand! He only sees his hand and you end up leveling yourself, IMO
GL on the grind!

really, the only hand i can put you on that beats aces is 44 or 55. even if its 44,55,KK or AA as well i think there are enough combos of KK to make up for it.
as soon as villain calls turn, i dont think he ever folds river, the decision is made on the turn. so if your attempt at repping a big hand hasnt' worked by then, i would probably just check fold river and save yourself a good stack. seems weak after putting all those chips in, but i dont think you are ever getting folds on the river
I’m trying to keep this pot small. c/c flop eval turn which is a safe turn so I would probably allow him to continue bluffing (if that’s what he’s doing) by checking with intention of calling or if I felt villain was passive I may lead here with a smallish amount so I can dictate the size of the pot if called. This is where I differ from the logic of “call turn, call river if nothing changes” idea. If this villain bets the river he is saying I have 88-AA and he’s betting for value so I can easily c/fold here. You would only beat bluffs at this point. 88, 99, JJ-AA all has you at that point. What do you think his possible value range could be that you have beat? Right there isn’t a value range you have beat and if he has the other TT oh well.
If he decided to 3 barrel you with AK be patient you’ll find a much much better spot later on. You are 250BB’s effective. If you played the hand a little more passive in this spot you’d have lost a small fraction of your monster starting stack. If you flopped a ten you’d have doubled through the guy that can’t fold an
I also disagree with the idea that AA is just a bluff catcher here. If you power play TT like this in a 3 bet pot OOP JJ-KK are all part of your range.
Don't think it's very constructive to blame villain for calling w AA here. If you're repping a set, would you really raise the flop on a dry rainbow board such as this?
If part of the reason you raised the flop was gaining info, I think you got all the info you needed. As soon as he called, you should be counting overpair combos that beat you compared to the underpair combos you beat.
Sorry for being brutally honest here, but I think you totally disregarded ranging him during the hand and had that I have an overpair, I'm going with it attitude which is very common.
