Hey

No reads

I’m not to sure if i love shoving flop lol , but i was hoping he calls with KJ. I doubt v will be raising so big with a monster hand li like K3/Q3 or 33 but i guess you can’t discount it. In andrew’s hand reading series a indiciation of a monster hand is when a big bet is made so it makes me think that shoving on the flop is not great but i guess it cant be terrible? i really dont know. I just find it weird v makes it so so big if he’s got a hand like two pair on this flop. My sizing was a bit small otf though , it was less then half a pot thats for sure ,probably like 40% of the pot i bet so that may make v bluff raise otf. The only problem is how do we know if v is bluff raising here or actually raising for value?

which line do you take otf and whats the top/middle/bottom of v range here?

cheers.

With these stacks on such a dry board I don’t think you should have a raising range on flop. The question of whether he has K3 also shouldn’t factor into your decision. I mean, you aren’t thinking of folding, right? It’s just a matter of whether to shove now or call flop and then get in on turn. If he has KJ it probably won’t matter what you do, so flatting just gives him room to keep barreling if he’s bluffing.

well yeah i was thinking that folding could be a option. We did play a hand earlier which hero c-bet and v folded. So when we played this hand it made me think that its unlikely he’s bluffing as he may play straight forward. He could have worse though which he raising with though.

ty andrew 🙂

That doesn’t make any sense to me. So you showed him you have a range for c-betting and folding to a raise. Is that really groundbreaking information that’s going to cause him to play all hands against you drastically differently in the future? Small amounts of data/history shouldn’t cause either you or your opponent to make large, if any, deviations from your default play.
