The two players on my left are extremely passive. I have been playing the button pretty aggro but I have had hands most of the time but some have been air to balance range.

I dont know y I min raised the button just a brain fart I guess but I would normally 3x the button. The only thing I thought was wierd about the hand was that BB flats the sb shove (I read the shove as a flush draw which it was). What is flatting there with Ax, under pairs, I guess he could be flatting with a monster but y not 3 bet pre. The BB is running 4/0 over 48 hands. I didnt think there were any 8s in his range thought he would 3 bet me with all his pairs so I shoved. Is this an example of giving the players at my table too much credit? Curious what some of you guys would have done in this position

the button minraise is pretty standard i think, i'd max 2.2 here, but never 3x.

the flat of the sb looks really very suspicious, especially by an extremely tight player –  i'd fold there every time.

As there are no antes I would raise to around 500 though some raise to 600 and some to 400 so I don't think it was too bad to minraise even if it was a brain fart. I would be cautious here though with the sb so short as he will be looking to shove here fairly wide against your raise so I think I would actually just open fold this spot.

On the flop obviously the cbet is standard, the sb shove could be a flush draw, or given his stack size and his flat pre, it could be a monster. That would come down to your read on the player, which you got right. With the bb then flatting the shove I am folding pretty much every time, especially as he is 4/0. I think this looks like a 22 or 44. There aren't many scenarios where you are ahead here, but you are behind a lot of the time against 2 opponents. Even if you are ahead then it is unlikely to be by much (overcards, flush draws etc.), whereas if you are behind you are going to be drawing very thin.

+1 here. I start opening with a minraise once blinds hit 100/200. No reason to do more really. The hand is so wierd and since the BB is calling the SB with no problem and he is not folding to you if you raise (he has shown no sign of folding), then it is not worth the risk of almost 30bb's effective with a weak top pair and a flush draw on board. FOLD.

With our stack nd no antes, I just fold pre unless you are prepared to get it in with the sb. I dont like open folding if the sb 3bet jams.

It looks like you acted OTF w/o a plan. For starters, lower cbet sizing (550-675). Shaving 125-250 of this cbet makes folding TP easier to justify.
As played, might just call getting 5to1 with position and evaluate/pickup more info on the turn. Sets up an easy 3/4pot shove when checked to on turns that brick, or check behind ugly turns hoping to reach showdown.

I'm with terbet on this one – my opening range narrows when there are 10-20bb stacks behind me (not super nitty) b/c they're obv more likely to shove on us.. if you're open-folding to sb's shove then you should jst be folding pre

its kinda yuck as played but i'd just fold as it looks like at least 1 of them if not both of them are beating us, and if 1 of them isnt beating us now i'd imagine they'd have a lot of equity vs our hand with the likes of 1 or 2 overs plus the flush draw

i'd fold pre

Cbet smaller around 600

and fold to the action behind us
