 Hero???

FT of the 12k gtd

Hajas is an aggressive winning player and has 3bet and 4bet folded at points throughout the final 2 tables

Is this a fold?

I get this in all day. Hajas iso range will definitely include plenty of aces that you dominate.

I agree with this.  Especially since he was 3 and 4 betting earlier and is very aggro.  Regardless of that information I'm never folding here.  Rip it in and go to the FT as the CL.

I think it's definate snappage as we're more often than not flipping or dominating his iso range and if he has KK we still have 3 outs – if he has AA we just bink our broadway 😉

but seriously I think we're smahing the original shove and I beleive we're well ahead of the ISO – if he is a winning player then would expect him to more often than not get tricky and flat his big hands to get a squeeze from a weak player behind.

break your arm off getting it in, and then when he rolls aces, use your aforementioned broken arm to shash your monitor

He probably rolls over midpairs the majority of the time but his range is almost irrelevant since we have blockers to the only hands that crush us and we have way more than enough odds to flip with every other pair he can have.

Doubt I can call fast enough.

I agree with all but this decision should be made with ICM considerations.  If you were at the FT you need to consider 8th place money, vs 1st place money vs 4th or so (assumes you dont call and you end up moving up to 4th which of course is a BIG assumption).  if the money diff between 8th and 4th is big for your bankroll you might decide to just coast to 4th.

I expect you end up deciding its worth the call but just saying you might want to consider that.  You are so ahead of both ranges I dont see how you can't call

Just for fun let's say its the 2011 Main event: Here is the payout structure:

  • Place, Earnings
  • 1st, $8,715,638
  • 2nd, $5,433,086
  • 3rd, $4,021,138
  • 4th, $3,012,700
  • 5th, $2,269,599
  • 6th, $1,720,831
  • 7th, $1,314,097
  • 8th, $1,010,015
  •

Would everybody still call???? (obv assuming same ranges as it would never play like this at the FT of the WSOP ME.
